LEWITT, Sol: ARTIST BOOK: Sol LeWitt/Ten Thousand lines, Six thousand two hundred and fifty five lines, Art & Project Bulletin 32, January 1971, large folded A4 sheet with single double-spread drawing and another line drawing on the verso of the sheet. As with all the Bulletins, an artist was asked to use the bulletin as an arena for his work/thoughts in whatever way he wished. The bulletins were then mailed out or given to the public in the gallery. LeWitt always liked to be the first bulletin of the year.

LONG, Richard: ARTIST BOOK: River Avon Book, Anthony D'Offay, London 1979, 159x139mm, unpaginated (66)pp in hard slate coloured covers and in slipcase. MINT ARTIST BOOK. One of the most beautiful of LONG'S books. The subject is the River Avon in Bristol, the artist's home town; Long dipped hand-made paper sheets into the source of the River Avon and then left the pages to dry with muddy water marks on the banks of the river. The paper was then cut and bound in slate card covers with self end-papers and put inside a slipcase. The book is un-signed but the words 'River Avon Book - Richard Long' have been written in white pencil by the artist on the front of the slipcase. The river has made this book, aided by the artist. Edition of 120.
